Overhaul. Go big, not go home: With the Core i9-13900HX and GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop, Medion has given this notebook the latest and most powerful hardware available right now. The device also features a fast 16:10 screen (2,560 x 1,600), a mechanical keyboard and a pretty good battery life.

Droolworthy snake. The Razer Blade 16 Early 2023 is a new offering for gamers interested in a flagship 16:10 16-inch gaming laptop. Featuring a desktop-class Intel Raptor Lake-HX Core i9-13950HX, a 175 W Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU, and the world's first dual-mode mini-LED display, the Blade 16 seeks to take on some of the most powerful juggernauts this year. We explore Razer's ambitions with the Blade 16 and see whether it is worth the additional US$700 over the Blade 16 RTX 4080.

The ROG. The new Asus M16 is available in three variants: With an RTX 4070, RTX 4080 or RTX 4090. We review the highest-end configuration. On top of that, its bright, 16:10, HDR, Mini-LED-backlit display is also new. We take a look to see if the $4,000 ROG M16 is just as impressive in real life as it is on paper.

Together with RGB illumination all around and a 240-Hertz IPS display, it leaves hardly any gaming desires unfulfilled. On the other hand, our test reveals not only some expected weaknesses.

Re-polished. The current incarnation of the Blade 15 still continues to rely on potent Alder Lake and Ampere hardware but also offers an enticing upgrade: Razer has gone for a high-contrast OLED display (QHD) complete with a high refresh rate (240 Hz) and excellent color space coverage.

175 W GeForce RTX 4090 graphics. You don't need a gigantic laptop like the MSI GT77 if you want extreme performance. The Mech-17 GP2 is 600 g lighter while carrying similar 175 W GeForce 40 GPU options. Temperatures, however, are a different story.

Perfect for QHD and 1080p. Two weeks after the launch of the new high-end models RTX 4090 and RTX 4080, Nvidia launches the new laptop versions of the RTX 4070, RTX 4060 and RTX 4050. Slim 7i Pro X vs. Slim 7 Pro X. The AMD version is several hundred dollars less expensive than the Intel version while being just slightly slower. It's a better buy for most users since the GeForce RTX 3050 GPU and 3K display still come standard.

Swoop of a falcon. The Aorus GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Master 12G is Gigabyte's premium AD104 offering targeted at upper midrange gamers. The Aorus RTX 4070 Ti Master performs exactly on par with RTX 4070 Ti offerings from Asus and KFA2 and presents another viable option, especially if you are into fancy quality-of-life features and don't mind the splurge. However, AMD's top-end RDNA 3 offerings seek to offer more bang for the buck.
