With Nvidia selecting Wistron as its main substrate supplier and Foxconn as module packager, the next gen Blackwell AI GPU chips are ready to enter the production phase. A Q2 2024 launch is looking very likely.

One-Netbook has revealed the ONEXPLAYER ONEXGPU, an eGPU showcased with the company's ONEXPLAYER ONEXFLY gaming handheld. Supposedly a game-changer for the eGPU market, the ONEXGPU has a slim design and plenty of ports, along with a small active fan to keep everything cool.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 sales are horrible per the latest report by Moore’s Law Is Dead. According to the leaker’s sources, nobody wants the RTX 4080 as they don’t sell. The situation is so bad that it allegedly has prompted one retailer to stop ordering more stock.

Nvidia's latest roadmap released for investors shows new Hopper-based H200 products coming in early 2024, Blackwell B100 products launching mid-2024 and X100 AI accelerators releasing sometime in 2025. The next gen RTX 5000-series could thus launch in late 2024 and its successor just a year later.

Intel Arc A580 graphics cards from ASRock and Sparkle have been spotted, leading to speculation that the boards will soon be released. Intel revealed the A580 as part of its Arc series in 2022, but the SKU still hasn’t seen the light of day. Nvidia plans to launch a cut-down version of the GeForce RTX 3050 sometime next year. It will feature a GA107 GPU, 6 GB of VRAM on a 96-bit bus and has a TDP of 75 Watts.

A fresh leak from WCCFtech posits that the RX Radeon 7900M would be based on a cut-down Navi 31 chip with 72 CUs and 4608 stream processors plus 16 GB VRAM. On paper, this model should be twice as fast as the existing RX 7600M.
