A new leak from Kopite7kimi says the GeForce RTX 5090 could feature a 512-bit memory bus. The graphics card is due to launch sometime in 2025. It is said be manufactured on TSMC's 3 nm node and feature GDDR7 memory.

Available on Amazon since mid-November 2022, the Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Trinity OC video card had a price tag of US$1,299.99 less than two months ago. Thankfully, a brand-new discount of 15% has just pushed it to US$1,099.99, which also happens to be the lowest price it had on Amazon so far.

Wesion will soon launch the Khadas Mind workstation mini PC powered by an Intel i7-1360P processor coupled with 32 Gb LPDDR5-5200 and up to 4 TB NVMe SSD storage. This is the main unit that can be docked with a suite of modules, including the Mind Graphics powered by an RTX 4060M dGPU plus the Mind xPlay portable display with detachable keyboard.

Intel designed the NUC Extreme mini PCs to accommodate high-end desktop-grade processors, but this might not be the case anymore, as the Meteor Lake models equipping the rumored Asus NUC Extreme only include laptop-grade cores.

AMD is expected to release the RX 7800 and RX 7700 in September. The cards which could possibly be the last RDNA 3 offerings allegedly feature the mid-range Navi 32 GPU. According to recent 3DMark Time Spy Graphics figures reported by leaker All_The_Watts, the RX 7800 and RX 7700 could outpace the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti respectively.

The RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB is the latest GPU to come out of NVIDIA’s camp. The card features the same 4,352 CUDA cores, 2.5 GHz boost frequency, and 288 GB/s memory bandwidth as the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB but doubles the VRAM buffer. NVIDIA has priced the board at US$499 in the US and €549 in Europe. However, the ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB has been listed for more than some RTX 4070 models in Germany.

Designed with next-generation systems that could hit the market later this year, the industry's first GDDR7 DRAM has now completed the development stage. According to Samsung, the new GDDR7 design sports a 32 Gbps boosted speed per pin while being 20% more efficient and having 1.4 times the bandwidth of its predecessor.

It appears that the Navi 32-based RX 7800 and the RX 7700 might be on the horizon as new information from Moore’s Law Is Dead suggests that AMD is getting ready to release the cards in a couple of months. The leaker has also claimed that the RX 7900 based on the cut-down Navi 31 GPU could see an unusual launch with constrained supply.

The new Thunderobot MIX mini PCs will launch later this week with up to an i9 Raptor Lake-HX and an RTX 4060 GPU. Exact specs will be released on July 21, and the starting price is set to be around US$840.

Intel is reportedly releasing the refreshed Raptor Lake CPUs for desktops and mobile as 14th-gen chips in the coming months and the Arrow Lake chips in the second half of next year. According to Intel’s internal performance projections for the Arrow Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh chips, the desktop ARL-S processors could bring up to 21% performance gain vs the Core i9-13900K alongside an Xe-LPG iGPU that could be 2.4x as fast as the HD 770 inside the desktop Raptor Lake-S parts.

Highlights for this configuration include speedy LPDDR5-6400 RAM, long battery life, an excellent 16-inch display with 2560 x 1600 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of 400 cd/m², plus a full-size SD card reader.

The Radeon RX 6650M dGPU is up to 10% faster than an RTX 3060 in raster performance and also offers 2 more GB of VRAM. Complementing the APU and dGPU are 16 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM plus the storage side comes with a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.

NVIDIA launched the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB on May 24 for US$399. The company is getting ready to release the 16 GB version for US$499 reportedly on July 18. Disappointingly, Hardware Unboxed suggests on Twitter that the GPU may not be covered extensively by the press as there is “no official review program” and AIBs have reportedly refused to send review samples to the outlet.

GPD has confirmed pricing and availability for the G1, an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT-powered eGPU with Oculink and USB4 connectivity. The GPD G1 will also be one of the smallest eGPUs around, with a reporting 920 g weight and 225 x 111 x 29.8 mm dimensions.

Some power draw gap is within reason since Nvidia uses 4 nm tech, while AMD employs a combo of 5 and 6 nm. Yet a 150 W difference seems a bit ridiculous. AMD has been working on driver fixes since December last year, but the abnormal power issues are still there.

According to an anonymous Chinese source, Nvidia appears to use the same anti-competitive tactics that made the GeForce Partner Program so infamous. On top of reportedly getting delayed to sometime in 2024, Intel's Arc Battlemage GPUs might also face supply issues if Nvidia has its way.

However, the performance target of the top G10 die that was supposed to beat Nvidia's RTX 4080 has meanwhile been nerfed a few times and it might not even beat the RTX 4070 if it ever launches.

Newegg is offering a US$400 discount on the newly-launched Asus TUF Gaming A17 gaming laptop, which is now priced at the same level as some last gen TUF laptops with RTX 3070.

MSI lowered the MSRP for the Ventus 3X OC RTX 4080 card by US$100 and Newegg offered for a little over 24 h an additional US$100 promo code. Prices are back to normal now, but such flash sales signal that AIBs are now more inclined to offer substantial deals on select RTX 4080 cards.

A new leak says the 16 GB variant of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti will be available on July 17, starting at US$499. Its actual cost will depend on AIBs as Nvidia doesn't plan to launch a FE variant.

The RTX 4060 launched on June 29 for US$299/€329. The GPU has received quite a poor reception from many media outlets and that could have resulted in poor launch-day sales if the figures posted by 3DCenter are accurate. Moreover, the GPU has already dropped in price in Spain.

Nvidia might face AI GPU supply problems if it keeps relying only on TSMC. Team Green already suggested an Intel collaboration, but industry sources claim that Nvidia is also considering Samsung as a secondary source.

The RTX 4060 is the latest RTX 40 GPU to come out from Teem Green’s camp. Per NVIDIA’s claims, the card performs up to 20% better than the RTX 3060 without using DLSS 3 Frame Generation. According to 3DCenter’s launch review analysis of the RTX 4060, the board is indeed 20% faster on average vs the RTX 3060 in both rasterization and ray tracing workloads at 1080p.

NVIDIA is just days away from officially releasing the GeForce RTX 4060, its cheapest RTX 40 series card to date. The company has now published official benchmark results for its AD106-based graphics card, positioning it more as a GeForce GTX 1060 or GeForce RTX 2060 replacement than one to which RTX 3060 owners should upgrade.

MSI has dropped the price of the factory-overclocked RTX 4060 Ti Ventus 2X Black by US$20 one month into the launch of the RTX 4060 Ti at US$399.99. The price cut comes as NVIDIA is preparing to launch the RTX 4060 non-Ti for US$299.99 on June 29.

The discounted configuration also comes with 16 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM, 512 GB NVMe SSD storage, 17.3-inch IPS screen with 1440p resolution and 165 Hz refresh rate, a Thunderbolt 4 connector and a full-size SD card reader.

The RX 7800 XT is rumored to be using a fully-enabled Navi 32 GPU that potentially allows the GPU to perform better than the RTX 4070. Igor’s Lab has tested a Radeon Pro W7800 under certain conditions to simulate the RX 7800 XT. The results depict the RX 7800 XT to be 14% faster on average vs the RTX 4070 at 4K.

NVIDIA has brought forward the launch of the GeForce RTX 4060, which it originally scheduled for a July release. Instead, the GeForce RTX 4060 will be coming in two weeks' time. The GeForce RTX 4060 will start at US$299, making it the cheapest way to obtain a desktop RTX 40 series graphics card.

AMD sneakily included this easter egg in an interview from 2 weeks ago, but no one noticed it until yesterday. It looks like this chip is going to power the upcoming RX 7800 / XT cards, which could launch in just a few months to compete with Nvidia's RTX 4070 GPUs.

Good sub-US$200 GPUs seem to be more and more rare in the post-pandemic era. With the launch of Nvidia's and AMD's subpar lower-mid-range solutions like the RTX 4060 Ti and RX 7600, previous gen GPUs like the RX 6600 appear to offer the best bang for the buck, especially when they go on sale for only US$180.

NVIDIA confirmed last month that the RTX 4060, the cheapest RTX 40 board, will be available to buy in July. However, according to a new report from Paul of RedGamingTech which was later supported by MEGAsizeGPU on Twitter, the RTX 4060 will release later this month. Additionally, Paul has confirmed that the RTX 50 Blackwell GPUs will follow the release pattern of previous GeForce launches.

The RX 7800 XT is rumored to feature the fully-enabled Navi 32 RDNA 3 GPU. Reportedly equipped with 60 Compute Units, 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, and 64 MB of Infinity Cache, the card could be a direct competitor to the RTX 4070 if the latest report from RedGamingTech about the price and performance of the board is accurate.

Minisforum's first ever mini PC model with a laptop-grade Intel Arc dGPU is now available for pre-orders starting at $649 for US customers (late July shipping) or €759 for EU customers (late June shipping).

This model has not seen these low prices since last November. With the RTX 4060 models not impressing too much, heavily discounted RTX 3060 laptops like the Zephyrus G14 from 2 years ago seem to be a better deal right now.
