HP's OmniBook 7 17 recently went on sale, making it one of the most affordable options for those looking to purchase a Lunar Lake-equipped laptop. It starts at just $659.99 for the configuration with a Core Ultra 5 226V processor and 16 GB of memory, although spending an extra $120 for the faster Core Ultra 7 258V paired with twice the RAM would arguably make it a better deal.

This model only comes with 16 GB LPDDR5-8533 RAM, does not include a stylus and the 1920 x 1200 OLED touchscreen is limited to 60 Hz refresh rate. However, there are some premium features that still recommend it, like the efficient Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor with integrated Arc Graphics 140V GPU, a speedy 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, microSD card reader and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

The business subnotebook offers significantly faster integrated graphics performance over the previous generation Latitude 14 7440/9440 series while consuming much less power in the process.

The older Inspiron 16 7640 2-in-1 may be the better deal if processor performance is of utmost performance. Otherwise, the newer Dell 16 Plus 2-in-1 is the more efficient machine.

The Dell 14 Plus laptop, which was released just a few months ago, is already available at a big discount. With a 28% price cut, the Dell 14 Plus has now become a solid multimedia value thanks to its Core Ultra 7 258V APU, 32 GB of RAM, and a 120 Hz display.

Dell is currently bundling Microsoft 365 Personal and McAfee+ Premium onto the base configuration of the Dell 16 Plus for an extra $100. If you don't want the subscriptions down your throat, then be sure to configure without them.

Ever since Intel’s Lunar Lake emerged as an attractive alternative to the Snapdragon X Elite – offering similar battery life without the occasional compatibility issues – Qualcomm has been taking jabs at Intel in several lighthearted ads, going more than slightly overboard in the process.

The MSI Claw 8 AI+ is one of the most powerful gaming handhelds around right now. The device is also comparatively expensive thanks to its $899 list price. Nonetheless, MSI has quietly refreshed the Claw 8 AI+ with a new $999 variant that makes two major changes from the original variant it has been selling since last year.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X9-14 Gen 1 Aura Edition seems like an interesting hybrid of different Lenovo laptop lines: In terms of looks, it could be a Lenovo Yoga. In terms of the features, it could be a ThinkBook. But in terms of quality, it has all the hallmarks of a ThinkPad.
