The Dell 16 Plus 2-in-1 convertible laptop has been discounted by a massive 36% margin at Best Buy. The resulting price has pushed the Dell 16 Plus well below $1,000, making it a solid value. The laptop packs a Lunar Lake Core Ultra 7 256V APU, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 254V has smiled for the cameras, at least on benchmark sites, as leaks on PassMark, Furmark, and Vulkan point to yet another entry-level Lunar Lake chip soon.

HP's OmniBook 7 17 recently went on sale, making it one of the most affordable options for those looking to purchase a Lunar Lake-equipped laptop. It starts at just $659.99 for the configuration with a Core Ultra 5 226V processor and 16 GB of memory, although spending an extra $120 for the faster Core Ultra 7 258V paired with twice the RAM would arguably make it a better deal.

This model only comes with 16 GB LPDDR5-8533 RAM, does not include a stylus and the 1920 x 1200 OLED touchscreen is limited to 60 Hz refresh rate. However, there are some premium features that still recommend it, like the efficient Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor with integrated Arc Graphics 140V GPU, a speedy 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, microSD card reader and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

The business subnotebook offers significantly faster integrated graphics performance over the previous generation Latitude 14 7440/9440 series while consuming much less power in the process.

The older Inspiron 16 7640 2-in-1 may be the better deal if processor performance is of utmost performance. Otherwise, the newer Dell 16 Plus 2-in-1 is the more efficient machine.

The Dell 14 Plus laptop, which was released just a few months ago, is already available at a big discount. With a 28% price cut, the Dell 14 Plus has now become a solid multimedia value thanks to its Core Ultra 7 258V APU, 32 GB of RAM, and a 120 Hz display.

Dell is currently bundling Microsoft 365 Personal and McAfee+ Premium onto the base configuration of the Dell 16 Plus for an extra $100. If you don't want the subscriptions down your throat, then be sure to configure without them.

Dell may be getting rid of the "Inspiron" name, but that doesn't mean you should be ignoring some Inspiron options out there as they still compare favorably to the latest models.

Last year's Asus Vivobook S14 OLED Q423SA with a Lunar Lake Core Ultra 5 226V APU and 16 GB of RAM is one of the best budget multimedia options currently on the market. The notebook has now recorded a sizeable 40% price drop on eBay.

The Dell 16 Plus comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor, 16 GB of soldered RAM, a 1 TB M.2 solid-state drive, and a 16-inch IPS panel. Additionally, it features modern connectivity, including a Thunderbolt 4 port, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

At Computex 2025, Acer is introducing the Swift Edge 14 AI as a premium, ultralight laptop that weighs just short of a kg. The Swift Edge 14 AI offers Intel Lunar Lake options all the way up to the Core Ultra 9 288V and features a stunning 3K OLED display along with USB4 and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

The Acer Predator Triton 14 AI is one of the more fascinating gaming laptops launched in 2025. It pairs an Intel Lunar Lake CPU with an Nvidia Blackwell GPU, and rounds it off with a high-refresh-rate OLED screen.

Acer is introducing several new Aspire A14 AI SKUs at Computex 2025 featuring Intel Lunar Lake and AMD Ryzen AI Krackan Point processors. The new Aspire A14 AI laptops feature an aluminum build and can be configured with up to 32 GB of RAM along with an OLED display option.

Acer has announced its latest Swift Go 16 AI laptop at Computex 2025 in Taiwan. Acer’s new Swift Go 16 AI features a 120 Hz OLED display, up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, a 64 Wh battery, up to 32 GB of RAM, and an FHD webcam, among other features.

The new LG Gram 17 variant has received a decent price cut at Best Buy. It comes with a 17-inch touch-enabled screen, two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports and a marketed battery life of up to 23 hours.

It seems that MSI intends to give the elusive Polar Tempest Edition version of the Claw 8 AI+ a global release. Sporting two changes from the existing Claw 8 AI+, the Polar Tempest Edition should be available this summer.

Ever since Intel’s Lunar Lake emerged as an attractive alternative to the Snapdragon X Elite – offering similar battery life without the occasional compatibility issues – Qualcomm has been taking jabs at Intel in several lighthearted ads, going more than slightly overboard in the process.
