Deal | Dell 14 Plus with 32 GB RAM, long battery life enjoys record-low price on Amazon

When we first reviewed the Dell 14 Plus laptop back in June 2025, we remarked that the laptop “covers all the basics” as it “focuses on core features that budget-conscious users care about”. As such, the Dell 14 Plus earned a good rating of 83 in our review. However, at the time of our coverage, the Dell 14 Plus was retailing for around $1,100 with only 16 GB of RAM. The non-upgradable RAM was also one of our biggest complaints.

Fast forward 8 months, and the Dell 14 Plus is now on sale on Amazon for just $779.98 with 32 GB of RAM. So, not only is the Dell 14 Plus currently much cheaper than when we reviewed the notebook, but it also packs double the RAM. The presence of 32 GB of RAM alone makes the Dell 14 Plus a serious budget-friendly multimedia contender, as the current DRAM crisis is making laptops more expensive. We recently reported that laptops powered by Intel Panther Lake APUs are going to be quite expensive, partly due to the increased RAM prices.

Dell 14 Plus also features a Core Ultra 7 258V APU, a 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, a 64 Wh battery, and an Intel Wi-Fi 7/BT chip. Key ports include two Type-C ports (one Thunderbolt 4), an HDMI 2.1 out, and a Type-A port. The hardware is packaged inside a thin-and-light aluminum chassis that weighs 1.5 kg (3.33 lbs.).

For the display, the Dell 14 Plus packs a 14-inch 2K IPS with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Our testing showed that the display boasts good contrast, more than 300 nits of brightness, and complete sRGB coverage. So, the panel is more than enough for day-to-day use, like web browsing and media consumption.

The same is true for the performance, where the 8-core Core Ultra 7 258V is plenty capable for most daily tasks. You can even game on the APU, provided you stick to modest graphical settings and older/lighter titles.

Finally, the Dell 14 Plus lasted over 14 hours in our WLAN test. This is enough battery life to last you a full workday and then some.
