Lenovo Legion Go S gaming handheld review - Steam Deck killer or Windows victim?
AMD Ryzen Z2 Go | AMD Radeon 680M | 8.00" | 738 g
The SK hynix HFS512GEM4X182N is a 512 GB PVC10 series PCIe 4 x4 NVMe SSD that appears to have been quietly launched some time in H1 2024. We first tested the 2230 size, 512 GB capacity version in February 2025; please note that PVC10 SSDs can also be had in 256 GB and 1024 GB capacity versions, as well as 2242 and 2280 sizes.
Performance
While not immune to throttling, the HFS512GEM4X182N delivers decent sequential read rates (AS SSD: 5.1 GB/s). Its sequential write rates are significantly lower than that, proving this is a mid-range product at best as of early 2025.
