The Kioxia KXG8AZNV2T04 V2 is a 2-terabyte PCIe 4 NVMe SSD that was unveiled some time in H2 2022. Built around 112-layer 3D TLC memory chips, the M.2 22 by 80 SSD features a reasonable amount of LPDDR4 DRAM cache and is supposed to deliver sequential read speeds of up to 7 GB/s (it's up to 5.8 GB/s for writes).
Performance
In our December 2024 testing, we saw fairly unimpressive sequential read and write rates in both AS SSD (4.46 GB/s and 2.08 GB/s respectively) and DiskSpd (3.56 GB/s and 3.67 GB/s respectively).
