980 Pro MZ-V8P250BW

The Samsung SSD 980 PRO 250GB MZ-V8P250BW is a fast high end PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 2280 SSD. It uses the Samsung Elpis controller with 8 channels, 512 MB LPDDR4 cache, SLC-Cache and 3D-NAND TLC memory modules from Samsung (V-NAND v6). Samsung specifies the drive with 6400 MB/s read and 2700 MB/s write (SLC cached, 500 MB/s TLC). The bigger variants are significantly faster (write speed). The power consumption is between 0.035W (idle) 7.4 W.
