Phison E31 2 TB

 E31 2TB

The 2-terabyte Phison E31 (E31-2TB-PHISON-SSD-BICS8) is a PCIe 5 NVMe SSD with no DRAM cache that was quietly launched around the middle of 2024.

Performance

AS SSD reports sequential reads and write reads of around 6.6 GB/s and 4.4 GB/s. While fast enough, this M.2 22 by 80 size drive is certainly not a record breaker, losing out to many PCIe 4 models.

The good part is, its performance seems relatively stable with no big throttling when subjected to sustained read load.
