Acer Swift Go 14 AI laptop review: 24-hour runtime for the MacBook Air competitor with Snapdragon
Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus X1P-42-100 | Qualcomm SD X Adreno X1-45 1.7 TFLOPS | 14.50" | 1.3 kg
The Micron MTFDKBA512TGE is a 512 GB 2550 series M.2 2280 NVMe SSD that was launched some time in 2022.
It employs 232-layer flash memory chips and utilises 4 PCIe 4.0 lanes. Its PS3 and PS4 sleep power consumption figures are supposed to be reasonably low; on the other hand, the TBW value of 300 is nothing to write home about.
Performance
Micron promises sequential read and write rates of up to 5 GB/s and 4 GB/s, respectively, which we can't really confirm. CDM 6.0 reports 4.6 GB/s and 4.07 GB/s, respectively, with AS SSD numbers even lower than that. For late 2024, this is pretty unimpressive as even mid-range drives deliver ~6 GB/s at this point.
