Asus ProArt P16 5090 review - Tandem OLED and RTX 5090 up against the Apple MacBook Pro 16
AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop | 16.00" | 2 kg

The MTFDKBA2T0QGN-1BN1AABGA is a 2-terabyte Micron SSD that Notebookcheck first tested in September 2025. The 2500 series drive is supposed to deliver sequential read rates of up to 7,100 MB/s, with writes approaching 6,000 MB/s.
If the PCIe 4 x4 SSD's base specs are any indication, this is your average mid-range 22 by 80 drive with 3D QLC data storage chips and no DRAM caching.
Our testing revealed fairly average AS SSD sequential read and write rates of 5.02 GB/s and 3.37 GB/s, respectively. What's probably more important is that there is no throttling under sustained loads.
