Intel has revealed that its forthcoming Meteor Lake chips will use AI for the first time to dynamically adjust voltage to improve performance and efficiency. The use of AI to achieve this has substantially improved the responsiveness and efficiency of Intel’s next-generation silicon.

SimplyNUC has lifted the lid on the Onyx, an Intel Raptor Lake-H-based mini-PC. Available to pre-order later this month, the SimplyNUC will be configurable with a range of processors up to the Core i9-13900H, which SimplyNUC has complemented with up to 96 GB DDR5-5200 RAM and 16 TB of storage.

MSI has just released the special Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Edition of its Stealth 16. The laptop still has a 13th-gen Intel Core i9 processor and RTX 4070 graphics for its OLED display, but comes with a new "esthetic" design and new unboxing experience based on its officially licensed branding. The OEM asserts that it will thus deliver a "luxury gaming experience" combined with "extreme performance".

The 14th gen Intel Raptor Lake Refresh (RPL-R) CPUs are expected to release in October. Specifications and performance of the Core i7-14700K have now leaked. According to the leak, the CPU has a 200 MHz higher P-core boost clock, features four more cores, and performs up to 17% better in multi-core benchmarks vs the Core i7-13700K.

The Aorus 15 BSF - a QHD gaming laptop - offers great performance (Core i7-13700H, GeForce RTX 4070) and a good selection of features (16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD, 165-Hz panel, Thunderbolt 4). Excellent runtimes complete the setup.

The compact office laptop by Lenovo scores points with low emissions, long battery life numbers and a 16 inch screen in the work-friendly 16:10 format (1,920 x 1,200, IPS, low power). It also includes Thunderbolt 4 and WWAN options.

There have been a plethora of leaks regarding Intel’s 14th gen Raptor Lake Refresh (RPL-R). Adding to this growing pile of pre-release RPL-R information, specifications of the Core i5-14600K have leaked thanks to a CPU-Z entry shared by the leaker 9550pro.

The thinner profile, mini-LED, and Core i9-13900HX CPU updates are all nice to see, but they trade away faster GPU options and secondary SSD support. For a high-end gaming laptop, these setbacks can make or break a deal.

Dell has unveiled its newest pre-built gaming desktop, the Alienware Aurora R16. It supports up to an Intel Core i9-13900F, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1,000 Watt power supply. It goes for sale now, starting at US$1749.99.

A low weight (~990 g, ~2.18 lb), slim case (≤ 12,55 mm, ~0.49 in), and bright OLED display rich in contrast (15.6 in, FHD) represent the highlights of the LG Gram SuperSlim. On the positive side are also two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a very good battery life.

With the extremely fast i9-13980HX, OLED display and well-tuned RTX 4060, the VivoBook Pro 16X looks ambitious at the very least and is by no means intended only for private use. However, Asus has made cuts in other areas.

Lenovo's new Yoga Pro 9i 14 is a powerful multimedia laptop with an excellent and very bright Mini-LED screen. You also get plenty of performance, a good keyboard and plenty of features, but Apple still has a big advantage when it comes to battery runtimes.

Although it has no name yet, Minisforum unveiled that the brand's upcoming ITX mini PC will use a stylish 6L case and will be powered by Intel and AMD processors. Both processor choices will feature PCIe 5.0 x16 and a discrete graphics card, as well as support for an SFX power supply. More details are expected to surface soon.

According to a report, Microsoft has settled on an early autumn release for the Surface Laptop Studio 2. Likely debuting alongside the Surface Go 4 and the Surface Pro 10, the Surface Laptop Studio 2 is said to retain its predecessor's design while adding Raptor Lake-H processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs. Microsoft is said to have made other changes too, but there will be AMD APU or larger options.

This is the main unit that can be docked with a suite of modules, including the Mind Graphics powered by an RTX 4060M dGPU plus the Mind xPlay portable display with detachable keyboard.

With the Vision 16 Pro, Schenker offers an extremely compact and light 16-inch multimedia laptop. Due to the GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop with 95 watts, there is sufficient performance to also bring current games smoothly to the WQHD panel.

Key specs of Intel's upcoming Raptor Lake refresh lineup have been leaked online. Except for the Core i7-14700K, all SKUs bring marginal improvements over their 13th-gen counterparts.

The new Thunderobot MIX mini PCs will launch later this week with up to an i9 Raptor Lake-HX and an RTX 4060 GPU. Exact specs will be released on July 21, and the starting price is set to be around US$840.

Intel is reportedly releasing the refreshed Raptor Lake CPUs for desktops and mobile as 14th-gen chips in the coming months and the Arrow Lake chips in the second half of next year. According to Intel’s internal performance projections for the Arrow Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh chips, the desktop ARL-S processors could bring up to 21% performance gain vs the Core i9-13900K alongside an Xe-LPG iGPU that could be 2.4x as fast as the HD 770 inside the desktop Raptor Lake-S parts.

New and interesting features are nice to see, but the changes to the Latitude 9440 almost feel like a beta test when compared to the more reliable physical buttons and clickpad of the Latitude 7440.

Marketed as a compact gaming laptop, the new MSI Stealth 14 Studio promises to deliver great performance with the Intel Core i7-13700H and the GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop. Unfortunately, the device struggles with a few issues, including its annoying fans and missing features such as Advanced Optimus.

The Raptor Lake HX-based Intel Core i7-14700K has been benchmarked online. Overall, it is up to 18% faster than the Core i7-13700K. Its actual performance uplift could be higher once the CPU launches in October.
