Minisforum unveils upcoming Raptor Lake HX55 and AMD 7045HX-based ITX mini PC
During Computex 2023, Minisforum showcased a motherboard for an upcoming ITX mini PC in two variants. The first one featured Intel Raptor Lake HX55 series processors, while the second was built to receive the AMD 7045HX family. Now, the company has just unveiled a few additional facts about the case designed to accommodate these mainboards, although its price and launch date remain a mystery.
Both AMD and Intel-powered variants of the upcoming ITX mini PC will feature a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and will feature support for a discrete graphics solution (most likely from Nvidia, based on Minisforums' previous products, but this still has to be confirmed). Support for an SFX power supply is present as well.
A stylish 6L case was designed by Minisforum just for this new PC with the purpose to fulfill the needs of those "who desire both aesthetics and functionality" in such a small form factor. However, the mainboards mentioned above will be also available for purchase separately, or together with the case. Although Minisforum has not revealed this, it is rather safe to assume that a few complete hardwre setups to choose from will become available as well.
Minisforum promised that more information will be available in the near future, so stay tuned.
