Minisforum unveils Venus NPB7 mini PC with Intel Core i7-13700H and dual 2.5 GbE connectivity

Less than a month after unveiling the brand's first mini PC with dual Ethernet ports, Minisforum is back with a second piece of hardware that packs this feature. The Venus NPB7 uses the Intel Core i7-13700H alongside up to 64 GB memory and 1 TB storage. Shipments are scheduled to begin in roughly a month.

Well-known mini PC brand Minisforum continues pushing the limits with its second piece of hardware that features dual 2.5 GbE ports. Equipped with the Intel Core i7-13700H processor and the Iris Xe Graphics G7 96EUs integrated graphics solution, the Venus NPB7 features a design that reminds of the Venus NAB6. The starting price for the barebone setup is US$489 (early bird price, down from US$609).

The other configurations (and their early bird/retail prices) currently listed on the official product page are the following:

  • 16/512 GB, US$609/US$759  
  • 32/512 GB, US$669/US$829
  • 32 GB/1 TB, US$699/US$879
  • 64 GB/1 TB, US$799/US$999

All configurations can come with US, UK, or AU power adapters. In addition to the aforementioned processor and dual Ethernet connectivity, the list of common specs and features also includes support for DDR5-5200 memory, one M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 and one 2.5-inch SSD slot, as well as WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. This mini PC supports up to 4 displays (4K@60 Hz) via 2 X HDMI and 2 X USB 4 video outputs.

The Minisforum Venus NPB7 (except for the barebone version) will ship preloaded with Windows 11 Professional starting mid-May.

MINISFORUM Launches New Intel 13th Gen Mini PC NPB7 with Enhanced Processor and Connectivity

MINISFORUM has unveiled its latest addition to the Venus series - the NPB7. Boasting a sleek design reminiscent of the NAB6, the NPB7 sets itself apart with upgraded processors and enhanced peripheral interfaces.

Processor:

Powered by an Intel® Core™ i7-13700H processor with 14 cores, 20 threads, 24M Cache, and a Max. Boost Clock of up to 5.0 GHz, the NPB7 is equipped for demanding professional tasks such as video editing and graphic design. The i7-13700H processor intelligently distributes multi-threaded tasks across multiple cores to ensure stable performance.

Memory/Storage:

Unlike previous models with DDR5-4800 frequency, the new NPB7 supports up to DDR5-5200 frequency with maximum support of up to 64 GB. The NPB7 has maintained one M.2 2280 PCIe4.0 SSD and one 2.5-inch SATA HDD slot to meet users’ basic storage needs.


Interfaces:

In addition, the NPB7 comes with two Gigabit Ethernet ports that can achieve network aggregation to boost network performance. For wireless connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, which are now standard features for newly released models.

It has two HDMI (4K@60Hz) and two USB4 (4K@60Hz) ports that can simultaneously support up to 4 external displays, making it ideal for users with a multi-screen setup.


User-Friendly Design:

Designed for ease of use, the NPB7 features a top case that opens effortlessly with a simple press, offering a tool-free DIY experience that is particularly user-friendly for customization enthusiasts.

The NPB7 comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Professional edition out of the box and is equipped with a 19V DC adapter. With its compact size, it can be placed on a desk, bookshelf, or any limited space for a more convenient user experience in home, office, or entertainment settings.
