Simply NUC Topaz 3 mini PCs with Intel Raptor Lake-P CPUs now available for pre-order
Simply NUC is now allowing pre-orders for its Topaz lineup of mini PCs with Intel Raptor Lake-P processors. The third iteration of the Topaz lineup comes with two variants based on the Core i5-1340P and Core i7-1360P CPUs. With a compact case measuring 4.5 x 4.5 x 1.9 inches, Simply NUC is targeting home theater and IoT use cases including digital signage solutions.
The default configurations only offer 4 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and a 256 GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, but users can opt for up to 64 GB of RAM and up to 10 TB of storage via an 8 TB NVMe SSD and a 2 TB SATA SSD. Port selection offers 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 with DP mode, 4x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.0b and DP 1.4 video outputs, audio jack and dual 2.5 Gb Internet connectors. There is also wireless connectivity via an included Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.2 card. As with other lineups, Simply NUC allows users to customize the front panel with additional ports, including serial, HDMI, VGA, USB 2.0 and GbE jacks. Additionally, a VESA mounting kit and a 90 W power adapter are provided.
Prices start at US$669 for the i5-1340P model and US$819 for the i7-1360P. Simply NUC includes a free Ubuntu OS installation and 3-year warranty in the starting price.
