The latest variant of the popular Minisforum UM590 is now up for pre-order starting at US$219 (barebone). The UM560XT has an AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor inside and up to 32 GB RAM & 1 TB SSD, in which case the price will be US$379. If everything goes as planned, shipments will start in mid-May.

Although it has been around for over two years, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600H has aged well and it can still be useful in machines built for office tasks and other general tasks that don't have high requirements. Minisforum Venus UM560XT is such a piece of hardware that provides very good value to those who will take advantage of the early bird prices that start at just US$219 (early bird price for the barebone version, down from a regular price tag that reads US$269).

All the hardware setups mentioned below (alongside the barebone version) will ship with US, AU, or UK power adapters, as needed. These are the specs and pricing details (early bird/retail):

  • 16/512 GB, US$299/US$369
  • 32/512 GB, US$339/US$419
  • 32 GB/1 TB, US$379/US$469

The Minisforum Venus UM560XT supports dual-channel DDR4 memory and can accommodate three 4K @ 60 Hz displays thanks to its two HDMI ports and USB Type-C port that supports video output. In addition to them, this compact machine  features one RJ45 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.2 Gen2, as well as a pair of USB 2.0 ports.

All the non-barebone configurations mentioned earlier come with Windows 11 Professional preinstalled. If everything goes as planned, the Minisforum Venus UM560XT will start shipping in mid-May.
