Announced in December 2022 with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600U processor and integrating a 2.5k HDR webcam, dual speakers, as well as a dual microphone array, the Minisforum Mars MC560 is now up for sale. However, the processor used is the slightly faster AMD Ryzen 5 5625U. The early bird prices are US$399 (16/512 GB) and US$458 (32/512 GB).

The Mars MC560 mini PC by Minisforum was unveiled in early December 2022, when the Chinese OEM was planning to use the AMD Ryzen 5 5600U processor for this small-factor business machine. While the teleconference-focused parts remain the same (2.5k HDR webcam, dual speakers, MEMS dual microphone array for precise speech capture alongside improved noise canceling), the units that are up for sale come with the AMD Ryzen 5 5625U chip inside.

In addition to the above, those interested should know that the Minisforum Mars MC560 supports up to 64 GB DDR4-3200 memory and a single PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD. This mini PC measures only 4.2 X 2.7 X 6 inches and comes with the following connectivity options: WiFi 6 (via a pre-installed M.2 card that also provides Bluetooth 5.2 support), HDMI 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C (Alt DP, Data Transfer, PD), 2 X USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, 3.5 mm audio jack.

The Minisforum Mars MC560 ships with Windows 11 Pro in two hardware configurations: 16/512 GB, now priced at US$399 (US$479 regular price), and 32/512 GB, with a US$458 price tag (will go up to US$529 after the presale period ends). Shipments are scheduled to kick off in mid-March.

Minisforum announced its first Mars series mini PC MC560 last December, and today it is finally going on sale. Unlike previous versions, the MC560 upgrades the CPU from Ryzen 5 5600U to Ryzen 5 5625U. It has 6 cores and 12 threads and is based on the Zen 3 architecture. The based clock is 2.3GHz and can be boosted up to 4.3GHz. The chip is manufactured on the 7nm TSMC process.

The MC560 is different from other mini PCs. It is an all-in-one conference mini PC that combines feature of computer, camera, mic and speakerphone all together to reduce wasted space and cross cabling by taking off unnecessary devices.

Dual 4K

It has a 2.5K webcam with HDR support and a 93.8 degree field of view. The adjustable base offers 10°tilt change to the view. With the help of 4Ω/3W dual independent speaker design, the maximum sound distortion does not exceed 5%, reflecting authentic human voice. The microphone uses the MEMS dual array with an independent DSP chip for assistance. Combined with the AI intelligence algorithm, it can not only suppress the reverberation, intelligently recognize human voice, but also eliminate environmental noise, thereby accurately restoring human voice.

The MC560 is only 4.2 x 2.7x 6.0 inches big. It supports up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a M.2 slot for PCIe 3.0 NVME SSDs storage. Wi-Fi 6 connectivity is provided through a pre-installed M.2 card.
