Close, but not quite close enough. We were happy to learn that the Iris graphics card is awake and alert despite SoC-throttling. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) cannot be considered a "gamer" however, nor is it a full laptop replacement: Just like in the i5 version, there is significant throttling.

Untiring.Acer's 11.6-inch convertible pleases with a very long battery life and an IPS display with stable viewing angles.

Barebones utilitarianism… One truly bright spot for Chromebooks has been the education sector, wherein their adoption has been disproportionately high. In recognition of this opportunity, Lenovo seizes the moment with what is arguably their most utilitarian—yet still affordable—notebook to date, specifically intended for students.

Convertible Powerhouse. The Lenovo Yoga line has long been the leader in the 2-in-1 notebook market. With the redesigned Yoga 720, the Chinese manufacturer looks to expand that dominance. Can the 15-inch model be flexible enough for consumers, or will it snap under pressure?

Premium convertible. Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Yoga is clearly in a league of its own - at least as far as the price is concerned. The convertible features high-end components and a very good OLED panel. Unremarkable. The Asus convertible has an Apollo Lake processor on board and offers a lot of storage space. The battery life can be called average at best. At a price of almost 500 Euros (~$560), the device is not one of the most affordable models.

Evolution, not revolution. The first generation of Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Tablet was decent, but it had its fair share of flaws. A year later, the latest version has seen little more than a chipset refresh with a few component updates. Is that enough to remain competitive?

Legacy Ready. Fujitsu was one of the last few manufacturers whose convertibles were still equipped with the older rotating hinges, and the Lifebook P727 is Fujitsu's first convertible with real 360° hinges that is supposed to lure over a few Dell, HP, and Lenovo customers. Our extensive review is going to reveal whether or not the Lifebook is capable thereof.

Business racer. HP is the only manufacturer offering a premium device with Windows 10 Mobile, which is mainly targeted towards business customers. Besides a large display, the customer also receives a strong battery, and a robust case, which can even run x86 programs with HP Workspace.

Top model. We review the high-end SKU of Microsoft's luxury 2-in-1 with a fast 1 TB NVMe-SSD and 16 GB DDR4 of RAM. We check the differences to the entry-level version from 2017 that we have already reviewed.

Great display. In the 13.3-inch XPS 13 convertible, Dell bets on a razor-sharp QHD+ display, which offers a good color presentation. However compared to the XPS 13 FHD model, the screen causes a significantly lower battery life. Thanks to a passively cooled CPU, the computer always runs quietly.
