Major online outlets in Europe are now listing the UX370UA for 1400 Euros and confirm earlier rumors of a smaller battery than the UX360 series in favor of a thinner design.
Allen Ngo,

We reported on the Zenbook UX370 back in February when it was nothing more than a rumor and now it is finally becoming available through European online retailers. Shops such as Media Markt,, and Computer Universe have begun stocking the UX370UA for a starting price of 1400 Euros. Core specifications include:

  • 13.3-inch "NanoEdge" FHD Gorilla Glass touchscreen, 100 percent sRGB
  • Core i5-7200U w/ HD Graphics 620
  • 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM (2133 MHz)
  • 256 GB M.2 SSD (SATA III)
  • 802.11ac WLAN, Bluetooth 4.1
  • 2x USB 3.1 Type-C Gen. 1
  • 39 Wh internal battery
  • 31.3 x 21.8 x 1.09 cm
  • 1.1 kg

A higher-end SKU with the i7-7500U CPU, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB SSD is also available for 1700 Euros. The lucrative 4K UHD SKU, however, is notably missing and will likely come at a later date. It's also disappointing that the FHD SKUs ship with SATA III SSDs instead of faster NVMe SSDs considering the high starting prices. Neither of the two USB Type-C ports support Thunderbolt 3 unlike on the competing HP Spectre x360 series or the rumored Lenovo Yoga 920. Asus's other flagship Ultrabook distinctly lacks Thunderbolt 3 as well.

The Zenbook UX370 series is notable for its narrow 6.11 mm display bezel and 10.9 mm thickness that is even thinner than the 13.1 mm MacBook 12. It will supplant the heavier (1.1 kg vs. 1.2 kg) and thicker (10.9 mm vs. 13.9 mm) Zenbook UX360 series at the cost of a smaller battery (39 Wh vs. 57 Wh) and with far fewer connectivity options.

See the official Asus product page below for more details on the UX370 convertible series.
