IFA 2017 | Asus ZenBook Flip 15 now official
All the big names in the industry are launching new portables and refreshing the existing ones with Kaby Lake-R processors these days. Asus makes no exception and has just unveiled a few new products in addition to the updated laptops and convertibles. The 15.6-inch ZenBook Flip 15 is one of these new products.
Although it does not use the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics added to the ZenBook 13 and ZenBook 3 Deluxe flagships, the all-new ZenBook Flip 15 comes with an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor under the hood. The list of hardware options available for the ZenBook Flip 15 (UX561) includes up to 16 GB DDR4 memory next to up to a 512 GB SSD and a 2 TB HDD. USB-C connectivity with Thunderbolt 3 is also present. This machine also comes with quad-speaker Harman Kardon audio.
The 360-degree rotatable display allows multiple usage modes, and the list of choices includes a full HD touchscreen with 178-degree view angle and a NanoEdge 4K UHD panel. In both cases, the user also gets stylus support for Windows Ink.
Asus ZenBook Flip 15 (UX561) will hit the market in Pure Silver and Smoky Gray later this fall. We have no details about the pricing or a US launch date, but we will get back to this as soon as we hear anything new.
