TCL's existing 30-series smartphones are new devices pitched at the US market. Now, it has announced new variants for the European market at the latest Mobile World Congress (MWC). They include the 30 5G, accompanied by Plus, SE, and E variants, starting from under US$160.

The new 20TB WD Red Pro is one of the largest NAS hard drives currently on the market, but at US$499 it might not be the most cost-efficient storage solution for owners of a network-attached storage server.

Xiaomi has unveiled yet more Redmi Note 11 smartphones. This time, the company has presented the Redmi Note 11E and Redmi Note 11E Pro, two very different smartphones. Currently available only in China, the Redmi Note 11E series will be orderable later this month.

Qualcomm has announced that all an OEM looking to make a new 5G-capable laptop needs is a spare M.2 slot in their prototype's design. Honor has finally released the Watch GS 3 outside its home market. To be available in the Eurozone for €229, the Watch GS 3 features a dual-band GPS module, over 100 workout modes, SpO2 monitoring and a particularly accurate heart rate monitor. The Honor Watch GS 3 will be available in Classic Gold, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black colourways.

Lenovo has unveiled the IdeaPad Flex 3i, another budget Chromebook from the company. The IdeaPad Flex 3i will start at €449 in May and comes in two colours. Multiple memory and configurations will be available too, but all IdeaPad Flex 3i models rely on eMMC flash storage.

Realme has launched the Book Prime globally at MWC 2022. The Realme Book Prime is largely identical to the Book (Slim) but now offers a Core i5-11320H processor and up to 16 GB RAM. Realme also announced the Buds Air 3 with support for Dolby Audio and 88 ms super-low latency for gaming.

Honor has officially launched the Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro in Europe, with prices starting at €899 former and €1,099 for the latter. Both phones feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 120 Hz LTPO HDR10+ AMOLED screens with a MEMC chip, and more.

Xiaomi has released the second version of the POCO M4 Pro globally. Now a 4G model, the new POCO M4 Pro has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, a Helio G96 SoC and four cameras. The POCO M4 Pro (4G) starts at €199 and is available with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The POCO X4 Pro 5G is here, and it has a worse Qualcomm SoC than its predecessor. The new model has a superior display though, along with a 108 MP primary camera and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 67 W charging, among other features. The POCO X4 Pro 5G will debut for €269 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

At MWC 2022, Qualcomm has introduced the Snapdragon X70 5G modem-RF system featuring a dedicated AI processor to enhance key network parameters and power efficiency. The Snapdragon X70 supports all commercial 5G bands from 600 MHz to 41 GHz and allows FDD-TDD and mmWave-sub-6 aggregation along with standalone mmWave. The modem offers up to 10 Gbps peak downlink and up to 3.5 Gbps peak uplink speeds.

Qualcomm is adding new SoCs — S3 (QCC307x) and S5 (QCC517x) — to its Sound Platform. The new Sound Platforms support Hi-Res Bluetooth Audio and also LE Audio along with stereo recording for earbuds, 68 ms low-latency gaming mode, and 3rd gen Adaptive ANC.

The flagship of the T series was renovated last year, and another redesign is happening this year, due to the change toe 16:10 screens. Another focus: The new Intel Alder Lake CPUs and AMD Ryzen 6000, as well as a new screen option.

The ThinkPad T series is the most well known ThinkPad series, apart from the X1 ThinkPads maybe. Lenovo describes the ThinkPad laptops of the T line as workhorses and the workhorses receive a huge upgrade at MWC 2022. This includes a new chassis design, 16:10 screens and the newest processor for ThinkPad T14 G3 and T16 G1.

Apart from a regular update to the established T series ThinkPads, Lenovo also dares to explore new territory with the ThinkPad brand at MWC. In the case of the Lenovo ThinkPad X13s, this means going with Qualcomm instead of AMD and Intel, or rather Snapdragon than Core i or Ryzen. The result is the first ThinkPad laptop with an ARM CPU.

Lenovo has officially unveiled the ThinkBook 12s Gen 4 i at MWC 2022. It packs a 13.3-inch WQXGA IPS LCD panel, 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 1 TB of solid-state storage, Wi-Fi 6G, and more. It will go on sale in April 2022, starting at US$849.

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14s Yoga Gen 2 i is has been officially announced at MWC 2022. It packs an Intel Alder Lake-P processor, up to 40 GB of user-replaceable RAM, a 1 TB NVMe SSD, a 14-inch FHD touch screen and a 60 Wh battery. Lenovo will start selling the laptop in April 2022, starting at US$849

Lenovo is introducing a redesigned IdeaPad Gaming series at MWC 2022. The new IdeaPad Gaming 3 and 3i laptops will be available in both Intel 12th gen and AMD Ryzen 6000H options in both 15-inch and 16-inch screen sizes. The IdeaPad Gaming 3 and 3i can be configured with up to the RTX 3060 while an Arc A370M option is also available with the IdeaPad Gaming 3i.

Lenovo has launched a thin and light, ultra-portable ThinkVision M14d external monitor at MWC 2022. It weighs just 0.6 kg (1.3 lbs) and has two USB Type-C ports which can output 65 W of power. It costs US$299 and will be available for purchase in July 2022.

Huawei has debuted 2 of its latest Matebook-series PCs outside China during its MWC 2022 event. The E is a 2-in-1 with a 12.6-inch OLED display, whereas the X Pro 2022 has a 14-inch 90Hz 3K display. They both also have 11th-gen Intel platforms and pricing in euros.

Nubia has unveiled the Z40 Pro, the first Android smartphone with a Sony IMX787 camera and MagSafe-style charging. The Z40 Pro is available in two versions, two colours and starts at CNY 3,399 (~US$537) in China with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

OPPO has now launched its much-teased tablet, the OPPO Pad. The OPPO Pad makes its debut as a direct competitor to the Mi Pad 5 Pro in China, and slings a Snapdragon 870, 2.5K 120 Hz display, and a starting price tag that converts into less than US$400.

The Kone XP is the latest mouse from ROCCAT, complete with its series' signature shape and Owl-Eye 19K DPI optical sensor. However, it boasts 15 buttons, which have up to 29 possible functions, and more extensive, tunable RGB lighting. The NVIDIA Reflex-compatible Kone XP also benefits from a Titan optical switch with a 100 million-click life cycle.

OPPO has now rounded its new product showcase off with the new, second-gen Enco X earbuds. These new flagship TWS peripherals are rated for Bluetooth 5.2, a new coaxial dual driver system and the LHDC 4.0 codec. The OEM also touts them as accessories with improved active noise cancellation (ANC) thanks to a new chipset.

Motorola has released the Edge X30 outside China, but under two names. For some reason, Motorola has settled on the Edge 30 Pro in Europe and other markets, but the Edge+ or Edge Plus in North America. Either way, the handset is mighty expensive at US$999.

OPPO has launched its top-end Find X5 and X5 Pro today (February 24, 2022). However, for those looking to spend less than flagship prices on their newest phone, the Lite variant of this series is also now an option. It boasts a 90Hz AMOLED display, a slim profile and a 64MP main camera.

The Oppo Find X5 Pro has officially been announced for international markets. Some of its key specs include 50 MP quad rear cameras, a 120 Hz screen, 50 MP quad rear cameras and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 80 W fast charging. It will hit shelves on March 21, 2022 and cost €1,299.

The Oppo Find X5 has been launched alongside its Pro and Lite siblings. It features a Snapdragon 888 SoC, 6.5-inch 120 Hz screen, 8 GB RAM and a 4,800 mAh battery. It will cost €999 and can be bought starting March 21.

The BLU G91 Max is an affordable smartphone with plenty of intriguing features, considering its price. The G91 Max is available for US$179.99 in two colours and ships with Android 11.

Vivo has released the Y76 5G in Europe, a MediaTek Dimensity 700-powered smartphone with a 50 MP primary camera. The Vivo Y76 5G also has a large battery, a 1080p display and sells for €329. Unfortunately, Vivo continues to ship the Y76 5G with outdated software.

After briefly detailing the various SKUs at CES 2022, Intel is now offering more details about Alder Lake-P and Alder Lake-U. Alder Lake-P SKUs offer up to 14 cores and 20 threads at a 28 W TDP while Alder Lake-U tops-out at 10 cores and 12 threads available in 15 W and 9 W options. Intel also detailed new Evo 3 features that are expected to feature in Evo-certified designs later this year.

It offers the slightly outdated, yet still quite powerful, Snapdragon 888 flagship-grade processor, complete with a "sandwich" liquid cooling system to help preserve its gaming performance. RedMagic has unveiled the global variant of its 2022 flagship gaming smartphone today (February 22, 2022). The 7 has a top-end 165Hz refresh rate for its AMOLED display, and boasts a comprehensive cooling system for its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. However, it has launched with some compromises on the specs of its original, Chinese-market version.

Nubia's high-octane Android phone brand RedMagic has just unleashed its latest 7 and 7 Pro flagships on the world. The 7 Pro in particular is rated for a number of industry-leading upgrades, a world-first under-display camera (UDC) panel in a gaming phone included. However, with its 165Hz screen, the 7 does not lag that far behind.

OnePlus has launched the Nord CE 2 in India starting from ₹23,999 (US$320). The Nord CE 2 sports cameras and display hardware like its predecessor but offers new software features for improved imaging. The Nord CE 2 now uses the MediaTek Dimensity 900 and comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 11.

Nokia has made the rumored successor to the budget G20 official, and has ushered a new G11 in alongside it. The new smartphones are equipped with large batteries for markedly long run-times - which may be handy as the 2 new phones offer a series-first 90Hz refresh rate. The two new phones have been released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland today (February 14, 2022).
