Acer has started selling the Predator X45 in Europe and the US, seven months after the gaming monitor's debut during CES 2023. To recap, Acer bases the Predator X45 around a 45-inch OLED panel with an 800R curvature and a 21:9 aspect ratio. According to the company, the large panel has a 3,440 x 1,440-pixel native resolution, which it complements with a 240 Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, Acer has included AMD FreeSync Premium to mitigate image tearing, although NVIDIA G-SYNC support is lacking. Moreover, the 10-bit panel offers 0.3 ms GtG response times, 1,000 nits peak brightness and a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio. For reference, Acer has also included the following ports:
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 2x HDMI 2.0
- 2x USB Type-A
- 1x USB Type-C (90 W USB Power Delivery)
Furthermore, Acer has integrated a KVM switch, 5 W stereo speakers and an adjustable stand, as well as a 200 x 100 mm VESA mount. The Predator X45 is available in the Eurozone for €1,799, which the company announced earlier this year. Conversely, the gaming monitor retails for US$1,599 in the US, US$100 less than Acer previously stated. Please see Acer's website for more details.
