ASUS has revealed the Tinker Board 3N, a single-board computer powered by a Rockchip RK3568 chipset that it complements with up to 8 GB of RAM. However, it appears that the Tinker Board 3N is nothing more than a rebadged Tinker Board 3 that ASUS unveiled earlier this year.

ASUS has presented the Tinker Board 3N, a single-board computer (SBC) that may look familiar to those who follow the company's Tinker Board series. As Liliputing notes, the Tinker Board 3N appears to be a tweaked Tinker Board 3 that ASUS unveiled almost five months ago. For some reason, ASUS has now expunged its Tinker Board 3 listing. The Wayback Machine still provides a look at the SBC that never made it to market though, should you wish to compare the two.

Additionally, it confirms that the Tinker Board 3N is a re-branded Tinker Board 3. As such, the former relies upon the Rockchip RK3568 SoC, as well as up to 8 GB of LPDDR4/LPDDR4X RAM and 64 GB of eMMC flash storage. Moreover, the Tinker Board 3N has an M.2 3042/3052 B-Key for 4G/5G modems and an M.2 2230 E-Key for Bluetooth/Wi-Fi modems. Erroneously, ASUS claimed that the Tinker Board 3 featured an M.2 2032 E-Key. Please see our original article for more hardware details.

According to ASUS, the Tinker Board 3N is one of three models in the series. Apparently, the company also plans to offer the Tinker Board 3N Lite and Tinker Board 3N Plus. However, it has not provided any details about either of these models yet, nor how it has distinguished them from the Tinker Board 3N. At any rate, ASUS states that the Tinker Board 3N will be compatible with Android, Debian and Yocto operating systems. While the company has not confirmed availability or pricing yet, more details about the SBC can be found on the company's product listing
