A new leak from Weibo's Digital Chat Station says that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be launched in two versions, one with its prime core clocked between 3.4-3.5 GHz. A faster GPU is included as well, but power-efficiency could be an issue at lower frequencies.

Honor X40 5G: Mid-range smartphone launches with a curved 120 Hz AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 695 chipset

Honor has introduced the X40 5G in its home market. Equipped with a 120 Hz AMOLED display, the Honor X40 5G also features a 5,100 mAh battery, a Snapdragon 695 chipset and up to 12 GB of RAM. Honor has decided to offer the X40 5G in four memory configurations and in four colours, too.

Xiaomi is now selling the POCO M5 and POCO M5s in the Eurozone. While the pair sound like similar devices, the POCO M5 and POCO M5s look rather different and do not share many components either. The POCO M5 and POCO M5s are both available with introductory discounts, though.

Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro receive second software update within a month

Samsung has started rolling out another update to the Galaxy Watch5 series, the second since their introduction last month. Released for all versions of the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro, the update improves GPS stability, among other changes.

Samsung Galaxy S23 to launch with thicker display bezels than Galaxy S22

According to new reports, the Galaxy S23 could be somewhat of a disappointment for fans of ever-shrinking bezels. While many Android OEMs continue their gradual moves towards releasing a smartphone with no display bezels whatsoever, a reliable leaker claims the opposite will be true with the Galaxy S23, which may look a bit chunkier than the current Galaxy S22.
