Realme 11 Pro Plus tipped to launch with Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra-rivaling, Xiaomi 13 Ultra-mirroring camera hump
Realme is reportedly busy registering the upcoming 11 series with bodies such as TENAA and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) ahead of their launch. The Android smartphones are projected to launch as direct successors to the 10 5G, 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ thus far, all of which are rumored to drop double-barrelled camera humps for a completely new design.
Then again, Realme is also thought to have taken inspiration from Xiaomi in developing the 11 series - its flagship is even finished in something very similar to the 13 Ultra's new shade of green in its latest alleged render.
The large round camera hump may not match the new Xiaomi flagship in terms of Leica branding and all the augmentation it implies, however - nevertheless, the "11 Pro+" is backed to challenge the Galaxy S23 Ultra - in terms of its overwrought Moon Mode, that is.
A Realme representative hints that the 11 series can match the lunar photography (complete with pointedly detailed topography) one might expect of Samsung's new flagship, with a sample shot to back those intimations up.
This hype-post has led to speculation that the 11 Pro+ will upgrade to the same ISOCELL HP3 sensor as the S23 Ultra, thus getting closer to the "Camera Flagship" mark for which its forebear the 8 Pro once aimed. Then again, nothing about the supposed next generation of Realme mid-rangers is known for sure at this point.
