After launching the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 about a month ago, Samsung is set to unveil a slew of new devices including the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE series in the future. That future may not be as close as has been rumored, however.

A new rumour says the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will exclusively be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, leaving the Exynos 2400 for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+.

The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max has been given the number one position in a chart of the global top 10 most-shipped smartphones for the first half of 2023 (1H23). In fact, Apple has taken up five slots in the table, including the top four places, leaving Samsung to grab the rest with various Galaxy S and Galaxy A phones. Recent Geekbench leaks point to Qualcomm offering an exclusive quad-cluster configuration for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy. While the regular 8 Gen 3 uses a 1+5+2 tri-cluster configuration, the 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy features a 1+3+2+2 quad-cluster with increased boost clocks. This Samsung-exclusive SoC is expected to feature in 2024 Samsung flagships such as the Galaxy S24 Ultra and will likely be made available to other OEMs later that year.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could offer double the maximum storage compared to its predecessor. However, there is no word about a corresponding increase in memory with the higher-specced variants.
