The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has now certified the entire Galaxy S24 series for sale in the US. For context, the new certifications arrive shortly after the FCC's Thailand equivalent published equivalent documentation for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. More recently, Windows Report shared what could be the biggest pre-release leak yet in which it also showcases official press images.
As expected, the FCC does not confirm too many details about the smartphones themselves. However, as SamMobile notes, the regulatory body has outlined the following model numbers applicable globally and for US carrier units:
- Galaxy S24
- SM-S921B - Global
- SM-S921U - US carrier locked
- Galaxy S24 Plus
- SM-S926B - Global
- SM-S926U - US carrier locked
- Galaxy S24 Ultra
- SM-S928B - Global
- SM-S928U - US carrier locked
Moreover, the FCC has certified a new S Pen designed for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Surprisingly, the regulatory body has included a picture of the unreleased accessory, which we have embedded below. While the stylus resembles the equivalent that shipped with the Galaxy S23 Ultra (curr. US$1,099 on Amazon), it appears that Samsung may include colour matched S Pens this time. Based on Windows Report's leak, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be available in at least four colour options, all with titanium frames and new 5x telephoto cameras.
