Samsung Galaxy A25 5G: Galaxy A24 successor coming on December 19 according to new retailer leaks
A few days ago, leaker @MysteryLupin shared numerous promotional images for the Galaxy A25 5G, one of Samsung's forthcoming mid-range smartphones. Prior to that, Roland Quandt reported that the handset would be available for CHF 279 (~$318), albeit without providing any sources to demonstrate that this would be the case. Now, GSMArena has been informed that Switzerland's biggest online retailer is already selling the Galaxy A25 5G in three colour options.
As the screenshot below shows, Digitec Galaxus AG (Digitec) has listed the unreleased handset in black, blue and yellow colour options. While this matches earlier leaks, it seems that Samsung has also prepared a fourth green option for other markets. Based on the three Digitec listings, the Galaxy A25 5G's rumoured CHF 279 (~$318) pricing applies to its entry-level 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage option. However, there should also be a 256 GB of storage variant that features 8 GB of RAM, too.
Moreover, Digitec has outlined that Samsung will formally release the Galaxy A25 5G on December 19, which aligns with previous expectations. For reference, the Galaxy A25 5G will ship with the following specifications:
- 161 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm, 197 g weight
- 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, (2,340 x 1,080/120 Hz)
- 5,000 mAh battery
- Samsung Exynos 1280 chipset
- 50 MP triple rear-facing cameras
- 13 MP front-facing camera
- MicroSD card expansion
