Chinese GPU maker Jingia Micro is developing a new GPU that comes close to rivaling the NVIDIA GTX 1080, at least on paper. The JM9271 offers fast clocks, PCIe 4.0, HBM memory, and a 200W TDP. International betas of MIUI may have been terminated, but they are still going for Chinese users. A new leak of the alleged full specifications for the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 flagship smartphone has revealed that the device should pack quite a punch and delight fans of the Chinese manufacturer. Not only should there be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC on board but there should also be 12 GB of RAM and a huge 1 TB of UFS 3.0 storage.

The Realme 5 series has been released in India, and has been followed closely by the Xiaomi Mi A3 in the same market. It turns out that the Mi A3 and the base model from the new line does indeed have the same processor, although the 5 has quad cameras where the Xiaomi has 3. The latter starts at INR 12,999 (~US$182), whereas the former starts at INR 9,999 ($140).

A phone that looks much the same as those in leaks and renders connected to a smartphone codenamed "daredevil" has popped up again in a tweet posted by a Zeiss employee. This individual calls it the Nokia 7,2, indicating that it is truly the rumored 48MP device. This phone is also now thought to launch in September during a scheduled HMD Global event.

Redmi has packed a number of exciting details in its latest official announcement. Firstly, it has confirmed that its promised 64MP camera will debut in the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The OEM Vivo recently released a teaser in which it hinted that its upcoming flagship, the Nex 3, would have a state-of-the-art waterfall display. Now, the product line's manager, Li Xiang, has revealed a photo of a phone in which the screen appears to cascade over the side of the device. The GST Gemini is currently in production and is scheduled to ship into Indiegogo backers in March 2020. There are regular, as well as Pro versions with 13 and 15-inch sizes. Intel 10th generation Core processors are coming to ultra-mobile PCs (UMPC), with One-netbook being the first to announce that it plans to bring one to market. A Russian blog may have leaked more information on when Huawei's next line of flagships, the Mate 30s, will be released. This event will allegedly occur on September 30, 2019. Other news indicates that they will indeed run Android on their launch.

Huawei has regained the ability to trade with American-based business again...technically. US firms that wish to do so need to apply for a specific new license from the current administration. Bloomberg now reports that these are being withheld in response to China's apparent reluctance to buy more crops from the States.
