Xiaomi will release the Mi A3 in India on August 21, 2019. This phone is the Android One version of the Mi CC9e, and runs the relatively new Snapdragon 665 SoC The OEM will release it for sale on Amazon.in. This site has reportedly already disclosed its pricing for the new device.
Its new listings show that the e-tailer appears to sell the Mi A3's 4/64GB varniant at INR 14,998, or nearly US$210. Its 6/128GB SKU will be INR 17,498 (about US$244). On the other hand, these prices are labelled "Lightning Deals", suggesting that they may be subject to change in the future.
The Mi A3 may have close competition this year: the comparably-spec'd Realme 5 will also be released in India soon - the day before (August 20, 2019), to be exact. A new report asserts that this phone will be sold at INR 10,000 (~US$139) or less, which, if true, could be a real blow to Android One in the country.
