The Redmi Note 8 and 8 Pro will be released in China soon. A tech blog claims to have a document detailing the choices of colors and storage options available to either variant. It asserts that the Note 8 will start at 4GB of RAM, whereas the Note 8 Pro's base SKU has 6.

The successors to the Redmi Note 7 and 7 Pro will be unveiled at an event in China on August 29, 2019. One of these is slated to feature the state-of-the-art 64MP camera that its brand's parent company has been teasing for some time. Now, a new leak may have spoiled the RAM, storage and colors in which these new phones will be available in.

It comes in the form of information MySmartPrice claims is relevant to the Redmi Note 8 series. It shows that the base model will have SKUs with either 4 or 6GB in RAM and either 64 or 128GB of internal storage. The  Note 8 Pro, on the other hand, will step up to 6 or 8GB of RAM, but will have the same internal memory choices.

This leak also asserts that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will come in a "Hail green" shade, which matches with an existing official teaser. However, it may also ship in a "Fritillaria" White or "Electro-optic Ash" (which is thought to be a shade of gray).

The Note 8, on the other hand, may come in Meteorite Black, Fantasy Blue or (again) White. The new Redmis are now also linked to the new MediaTek Helio G series of processors. The Note 8 Pro may be powered by the Helio G90T SoC, although the other variant may get a less powerful counterpart.
