A Redditor has found that undervolting the GPU in the Dell XPS 15 7590 is necessary to prevent its throttling. The GTX 1650 in the latest XPS 15 is reported to throttle severely as soon as it hits 75 °C under load at the stock voltage of 800 mV. Lowering the maximum voltage to 700 mV was found to not only allow longer sustained performance but also lowered the operating voltage to 68 °C.

MobilePixels announces dual and triple laptop display setups

With the upcoming TRIO from MobilePixels, laptop users will soon be able to benefit from multi-screen setups, just like desktop users. Besides the obvious advantage offered in games, a dual or triple-screen setup can also improve productivity and multitasking. The TRIO module attaches via magnets on the back of the main laptop screen and only needs USB cables.

Ming-Chi Kuo: Apple will ditch the butterfly-switch keyboard for something that actually works, starting with the 2019 MacBook Air

A new report by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo indicates that Apple might ditch the troublesome butterfly-switch keyboard mechanism on upcoming MacBooks in favor of the scissor-switch. Kuo expects the MacBook Air refresh this year to sport the new switch type followed by the MacBook Pro models next year.
