HP ProBook 445 G7 and 455 G7 with up to Ryzen 7 4700U and 16 GB of RAM are now available to order for under US$850.00
The HP ProBook 445 G7 and 455 G7 are now available to order, following their announcement earlier this month. Starting at US$841.00 and US$847.00 respectively, the 445 G7 and 455 G7 can be configured with up to a Ryzen 7 4700U processor and a 1,000 nit display.
Additionally, both can be configured with up to a 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD and 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. However, HP has included dual-channel SODIMM slots, so you could add more RAM if needed.
Keep in mind that even a midrange ProBook 445 G7 SKU can cost in excess of US$1,500. Maxed out configurations cost well over US$2,000, with HP charging US$227.00 just for upgrading from a Ryzen 3 4300U to a Ryzen 7 4700U.
The ProBook 445 G7 has been flexing its muscles on Geekbench, too. Spotted by @_rogame with a Ryzen 7 4700U and 8 GB of dual-channel RAM, the device achieved a multi-core score of 5,397 in Geekbench 5.1.1, a score comparable to that achieved by the Core i7-9750H. The score also puts it well ahead of the Core i7-1065G7, while its single-core score is about 80 shy of the Core i7-10510U.
To clarify, the ZHAN 66 Pro 14 G3 is a rebranded ProBook 445 G7. The ProBook 445 G7 and ProBook 455 G7 are available to purchase now and will start shipping in the US from May 27.
