HP's new PC G6 is an all-in-one (AiO) so directed at interprofessional use-cases it even has a relevant term in its official product name. It is also accordingly equipped with Rooms, a feature of the Zoom service intended to remove the need to configure it to the AV system in question prior to starting a first meeting.

The Collaboration PC G6 AiO is one of HP's freshly-launched enterprise-grade products. It comes pre-installed with Zoom Rooms, software that eliminates the need for AV configurations prior to an initial conferencing session, or so the OEM claims. This apparently applies even if the set-up in question involves multiple displays or even touchscreens. Great news for the IT department, then.

The G6 is powered by 10th-gen Intel Core up to i7 processors with vPro. It supports up to 8GB of DDR4 2666-3200 SDRAM and has 128GB of M.2 NVMe SSD storage, although there is also a PCIe M.2 2230 slot for a WLAN card and 2 PCIe M.2 2280 slots for additional memory.

The new AiO also has 10 gigabit per second (Gb/s) USB type C and type A ports; 2 5Gb/s type A ports; a DisplayPort 1.4; one HDMI 2.0a port; an RJ-45 port; an SD card reader and a combination 3.5mm jack. The latter is tuned by Bang & Olufsen, as are its "high performance" integrated stereo speakers.

The new HP G6 runs on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64, and also features business-like security features such as a fingerprint sensor and the latest generations of HP facilities such as Sure Start, Sure Sense, Sure Recover, HP BIOSphere, Sure Admin, Secure Erase and HP Client Security Manager. Its 27-inch display may also benefit from the options of QHD and an anti-glare touch panel.

The Collaboration PC G6 is currently projected to become available in September 2020. It will only be sold in certain regions which are to be determined; for example, HP has stated that they do not include the US at this time.
