Gole Technology has introduced the Gole11 all-in-one PC, which is also known as the HiGole F11APL. According to the company, the Gole11 is “the world’s cheapest all-in-one”, and it features an Intel Celeron N3450 processor and an 11.6-inch touchscreen with a 1920x1080 resolution. The device has been offered for as little as US$99 to early-bird crowdfunding backers.

The Gole11 is now part of an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, with the Chinese company behind its production hoping to reach a target of HKD$775,000 (just under US$100,000) before the deadline at the end of May 31. The interesting all-in-one mini PC is powered by a quad-core Intel Celeron N3450 SoC with HD Graphics 500 iGPU, and it comes with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64 GB storage (expandable via microSD card to 256 GB).

The earliest backers of the Gole11 may have very well claimed “the world’s cheapest all-in-one” but that offer was for the first 30 units only, and the next 100 pieces are priced at US$119. Following that, 500 more Gole11 devices can be backed for US$169 each before the normal campaign price of US$199 kicks in. The retail price for the mini PC is US$249 although it can be purchased on Alibaba for US$229 (without Windows 10 Pro and shipping costs are expensive). If the campaign reaches its target in time then shipping will start by the end of June; however, a failed campaign will simply result in 100% refunds.

The specs of the Gole11 all-in-one (see below for list) reveal that it could be used for a number of useful purposes: point-of-sale device, second screen, mobile work computer, simple gaming, 3D printing interface, smart home component, and for general media consumption. Although the US$99 deal for it has now been fully subscribed, even at US$119 the mini PC still has quite a few things going for it, including the Full HD touchscreen, Gigabit Ethernet, four communication ports, Linux support, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac/b/g/n. The Gole11 mini PC has a wedge-shaped case that will aid usage and weighs in at a reasonable 1.25 kg/2.76 lbs. It also comes with a one-year warranty.
