Dell has announced the Latitude 5530, the largest Latitude 5000 machine revealed today. The Latitude 5530 is also the only member of the Latitude 5000 series with 28 W processors, a 4K display and an optional dedicated GPU.

Dell is now offering an upgraded Latitude 9430 in both 2-in-1 and laptop form factors. The Latitude 9430 is more of an incremental upgrade to last year's Latitude 9420 and now comes with Intel 12th gen processors up to Core i7 vPro, LPDDR5-5200 RAM, and Wi-Fi 6E. The Latitude 9430 is designed to conform to Intel Evo 3.0 platform specifications.

The Dell Precision 5770 is a large 17-inch business laptop configurable with an Intel Core i9-12900H, Nvidia RTX A3000, 64 GB RAM, a 97 Wh battery and four Thunderbolt 4.0 ports. It will hit shelves sometime in April 2022.

The Latitude 7330, 7430 and 7530 are Dell's newest thin and light laptops. They feature Intel Alder Lake-U (15 W) processors, a 16:9 screen with FHD resolution, and a wide selection of ports. Depending on the model, prices range between US$1,899 and US$2,023.

The Legion 5i Pro 16 is a very good gaming laptop for 2100 Euros. It offers plenty of gaming performance for the QHD resolution with the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti. There are no real drawbacks, except for the loud fan noise.

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Chromebook 2 360, which will be available from the middle of April. The Chromebook will start at £419 but comes with optional LTE connectivity and 128 GB of storage for an £80 surcharge. The Galaxy Chromebook 2 360 has a 2.5K and 350 nit display, too.

Updated. At its MSIology event, MSI has introduced upgrades to the Summit E16 Flip series with the new Summit E16 Flip and the Summit E16 Flip Evo. Both models are powered by the Core 7-1260P Alder Lake-P processor and feature largely identical specifications with the primary differences being with respect to the display and the GPU. The Evo version offers Iris Xe graphics while the non-Evo SKUs can be configured with up to an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti.

With a 4K display and RTX graphics card, the basics are ideal for working with videos and images. But aside from that, our test also reveals some weaknesses that can only be balanced by the price point.

AMD admits that switching from spatial to temporal upscaling can be a bit more taxing on the GPUs, but the new FSR 2.0 upscaler should work even on Nvidia's GTX 16-series with good results. Team Red also reveals that FSR 2.0 implementation is fastest on games that already include DLSS 2.0 support.

MSI has revealed the CreatorPro M series, consisting of 15-inch, 16-inch and 17-inch models. While the trio feature new NVIDIA RTX GPUs, they have different processors, displays and I/O. The CreatorPro M15, M16 and M17 all start at €1,599, though.

MSI has unleashed the CreatorPro Z17, a 17-inch professional laptop with a Core i7-12700H or a Core i9-12900H processor. The CreatorPro Z17 features the NVIDIA RTX A3000 and RTX A5500 GPU too, plus a 165 Hz and 17-inch display.

MSI may have launched many new laptops today, but has also announced the CreatorPro Z16P, a professional alternative to the Creator Z16P revealed in January. The CreatorPro Z16P will be available with two new NVIDIA workstation GPUs, along with Core i7-12700H and Core i9-12900H processors.

The popular XPS 15 has gotten a bit faster today with the launch of Intel's Alder Lake-H platform. Users can choose between black or white chassis color options and up to the unlocked Core i9-12900HK.

The base configuration ships with the Core i5-12500H, integrated UHD Graphics, 1200p display, 256 GB SSD, and just 8 GB of expandable DDR5 RAM. This year will be a relatively minor update as the chassis design is still rather new all things considered.

MSI has revealed a refreshed Prestige 14 EVO, a 14-inch laptop now based on Intel Alder Lake processors. Starting at US$929, the Prestige 14 EVO will cost up to US$1,299 with a Core i7-1280P, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD.

The MSI Prestige 15 has been announced with 12th-generation Intel Alder Lake CPUs, up to a GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB storage and an 82 Wh battery. Prices start at US$1,399 for the base variant, and availability will be announced later.

MSI has announced the MSI Modern 15 with 12th-generation Intel Alder Lake-U processors, 52 Wh battery, 15-inch FHD screen, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. Its entry-level variant costs US$849 and will be available to purchase later in the year.

MSI has refreshed the Prestige 14, which now features up to the Core i7-1260P and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. The new Prestige 14 packs plenty of other hardware too, including a 52 Wh battery that supports 100 W charging and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports.

MSI has announced refreshed Summit E13 Flip Evo and Summit E14 Flip Evo business and productivity laptops. This year's, the Summit Flip Series gets an upgrade to Intel Alder Lake-P 28 W processors and features new security functionality such as Tobii Aware and Tile tracking. Both the Summit E13 Flip Evo and Summit E14 Flip Evo are Intel Evo 3-certified and come with Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6E.

MSI has announced an upgraded Modern 14, which now relies on Intel Alder Lake processors. Restricted to 15 W parts, the Modern 14 also only comes with one memory configuration and two colourways. The new MSI Modern 14 starts at US$699 and rises to US$799 with a Core i5-1235U processor.

The high-end Dell XPS 15 laptop is on sale at Best Buy. It features a 15.6-inch WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) LCD screen, Intel Tiger Lake-H processor, an Nvidia Ampere graphics card, 512 GB of storage and 16 GB of RAM. It can be bought for US$1,599, which is US$300 less than its asking price.

Prime Computer has announced the PrimeBook Circular, a modern laptop with modular components. Available with various processors from the Intel Celeron 6305 to the Core i7-1185G7, the PrimeBook Circular has a 77 Wh battery, a 3,000 x 2,000-pixel touchscreen display and weighs 1.5 kg. The PrimeBook Circular comes with 3-years manufacturer's warranty by default, too.

Three new high-end Alder Lake processors have been benchmarked on Geekbench. The Intel Core i9-12950HX, Core i7-12850HX, Core i5-12600HX are upcoming Alder Lake-HX processors slated for a May/June 2022 launch. They will have a base TDP of 55 W, and some models could offer extra cores/threads.

Samsung is throwing in a free 165 Hz 32-inch Odyssey curved gaming monitor for those who pre-order the upcoming Galaxy Book2 Pro laptop before April 1. The monitor retails for about $329 USD while the Galaxy Book2 Pro retails for $1050.

Lenovo introduced the IdeaPad Gaming 3i last month, but a retailer has revealed how much the 15-inch laptop will cost with an Intel Core i5-12450H processor and an Intel Arc A370M GPU. Units are not expected to begin shipping until late May though, two months after Intel releases its Arc Graphics series.

A third-party retailer has started offering the Swift X SFX16-52G, Acer's 16-inch laptop with an Intel Arc dedicated GPU. Available with Core i5-1240P and Core i7-1260P processors, the Swift X also utilises the Intel Arc A370M plus a 1600p display and LPDDR5 RAM. The SFX16-52G starts at €1,299, excluding taxes.

LG has refreshed the Gram 16 and Gram 17 with the newest Intel Alder Lake processors, a 16:10 screen, LPDDR5 RAM, PCIe Gen 4 storage and an optional Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 graphics card. They can be pre-ordered in South Korea, starting at KRW 2.29 million (US$1,885) and KRW 2.39 million (US$1,970) for the 16-inch and 17-inch models, respectively

Laptops tend to get thinner every year, but is this really a good thing for a gaming system? We are not sure and the new Alienware x14 shows that a thin chassis requires compromises in terms of performance.

Dell has announced the availability of new G-series monitors in the US and Canada. They include 32-inch variants with "fast IPS" panels, one of which is 4K/UHD and the other QHD and USB type-C enabled. They both support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and fast refresh rates, although only one of them features HDMI 2.1.

Xiaomi has unveiled the RedmiBook Pro 15 2022, a new 15.6-inch laptop with plenty of intriguing features, including a choice of two powerful Intel Alder Lake processors. The RedmiBook Pro 15 2022 has a 90 Hz and 3.2K display, too.

Chuwi has revealed an upgraded version of the CoreBook X 2022, a 14-inch laptop with a 3:2 display. Sadly, the CoreBook X 2022 comes with the Core i3-10110U, an ageing Intel Comet Lake-U series processor. Chuwi will start selling the CoreBook X 2022 later this month.
