Xiaomi has issued fresh updates for the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro, possibly the last version of MIUI 11 that either device will receive. The wait for Android 10 goes on, though.

Xiaomi has confirmed multiple aspects of the Redmi 10X ahead of its launch on May 26. Confirmed to be the first smartphone powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset, the Redmi 10X will also have an AMOLED display and dual 5G connectivity.

Xiaomi executives Lu Weibing and Wang Teng Thomas have revealed that they have been using an Apple MacBook Pro to go over marketing material for the upcoming Redmi 10X smartphone. It seems the Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro laptop just doesn’t cut the mustard when it comes to this kind of work.

The Xiaomi brand POCO is currently rumored to have a phone called the M2 Pro in the works. Now, new documentation issued by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and Wi-Fi Alliance have confirmed this. These new official leaks may debunk the theory that it is a completely new device, however.

The Honor X10 is an upcoming Kirin 820 phone that is thought to be particularly cost-effective despite its 5G status. The OEM has officially announced that it will sweeten this putative detail with a 90 hertz (90Hz) refresh rate for its display. This may make it an especially compelling option in the mid range.
