It wasn’t that long ago that a considerable fuss was made by Xiaomi fans when the CEO of the Chinese company, Lei Jun, was discovered making posts on the Weibo social network on an iPhone. However, a new Weibo post has shown that he is not the only Xiaomi executive who has a penchant for Apple products.
This time around, as highlighted by Xiaomishka, it appears both Lu Weibing and Wang Teng Thomas have been putting some finishing touches for the marketing material for the Redmi 10X smartphone…on an Apple MacBook Pro. It seems the RedmiBook 14 Pro or even the Xiaomi Mi Laptop Air cannot compete with their “spiritual” inspiration. At least there is a product from the Chinese OEM in the same shot, in the form of a Redmi 10X 5G device.
It’s hardly the greatest scandal in the tech world, although Xiaomi has had its fair share of those, but it’s always amusingly ironic to spot executives using devices from rivals while insisting the general public should, of course, buy products from their company.
