3DMark confirms up to AMD Ryzen 7 4700U, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD for the Xiaomi RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14S, and RedmiBook 16

3DMark has confirmed that the upcoming new RedmiBook range will be available with up to AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processors. Brought to our attention by @_rogame the confirmation follows a leak by @xiaomishka on which we reported earlier this month. 

According to @xiaomishka, Xiaomi will offer its new RedmiBook laptops in three sizes, 13-inch, 14-inch and 16-inch. 3DMark and @_rogame have now confirmed that all models will be available with 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Other RAM and storage combinations may be made available, too.

Additionally, Xiaomi will offer the new RedmiBook series with either Ryzen 5 4500U or Ryzen 7 4700U processors. Six and eight-core APUs respectively, neither Zen 2 processor supports Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT). According to @_rogame, the Ryzen 5 model is codenamed TIMI TM1951, whereas the Ryzen 7 model carries the codename TIMI TM1953.

Xiaomi is expected to launch the RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14S and RedmiBook 16 by the end of the month. There is no word on pricing though other than possible placeholder prices listed by @xiaomishka.
