After Xiaomi already introduced the RedmiBook 16 with current Ryzen-Processors some time ago, an Intel version is now also available in the shops, which also has an Nvidia GPU. The new version costs at least 633 euro in China and comes with quite respectable specifications. When and if this version will be released in Europe is unfortunately still unclear.
In this version of the RedmiBook 16 you get either an Intel Core i5-1035G1 or a Core i7-1065G7 as processor, which is supported by up to 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD for everyday use. The manufacturer uses the still quite young GeForce MX350 as a graphic card, which can compete with the current mobile Vega-7-Graphic chip from AMD in our benchmarks.

In terms of connections, the case has two USB Type A ports, two USB Type C ports and an HDMI 1.4 output. The device also supports Wi-Fi 802.11ax 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.1. With the thin edges of the Full-HD display, the RedmiBook 16 has a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent. The built-in battery comes with a capacity of 46Wh and can be charged with up to 65 watts via USB Type C. You should be able to watch up to 12 hours of videos in one go with it. Just how close this value is to reality remains to be seen.
In summary, the Intel version of the RedmiBook 16 is an interesting addition to the line-up, whereby one can again be curious to see how the notebook will hold its own against its AMD counterpart.
