Xiaomi certainly has a wide range of products to offer its fans and this latest one should be popular with those who enjoy taking smartphone selfies, whether solely for fun or for profession, or for people who just like to use their phone as a mobile vanity mirror. The Bcase ring light is an “all-in-one” smartphone holder and ring light with an adjustable stand. The device weighs just 2.4 lbs/1.1 kg and features a telescopic arm that can be simply folded and packed away to create an easily portable form.

The Xiaomi Bcase ring light offers three different shades of lighting for the user to experiment with. There is a “warm light”, a slightly harsher “cold light”, and a neutral temperature that is balanced between the two extremes. There are also 10 brightness levels for more fine tuning before it’s time to take that perfect portrait shot for the ages. There’s even a little remote control that can be connected to the Bcase ring light so the user can adjust the lighting while preparing a shot or when getting ready for a night out.

The accessory has a height adjustment range of 20.5 in - 67 in/52 cm - 170 cm and the smartphone holder in the central ring part of the device can be turned throughout 360°. The Xiaomi Bcase ring light is a versatile smartphone photography accessory that is priced very cheaply at just 159 yuan (US$23). It’s currently only available for smartphone selfie fans in China but may eventually find its way to other markets, where similar ring lights are generally much more expensive.
