Xiaomi launched the AMD Ryzen 4000-series-powered RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14, and RedmiBook 16 back in May. The company has now confirmed that it's set to release a new RedmiBook 16, but this time out, one powered with Intel's 10nm Icelake Core i7 processors.

Xiaomi released three new notebooks under its Redmi brand back in May: the RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14, and RedmiBook 16. All three laptops were powered by AMD processors, however, and it appears that the company is set to offer something with Intel hardware underneath.

Xiaomi has now confirmed that it's set to launch a new RedmiBook 16, but this time with a 10th-gen Core i7 under the hood. In the teaser image, the company reveals that it will launch the product on July 8, which is two days from now.

We don't expect the new RedmiBook 16 to be much different from the already released AMD Ryzen 4000 Renoir processors. That means the laptop will likely come in variants of 8 GB of RAM, with a 512 GB SSD as standard. The RedmiBook 16 will offer a 1080p display with a peak brightness of 300 nits, and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. It should offer a 46Wh battery, two Type-C ports, two Type-A ports, one HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pricing will be revealed at launch, but the AMD-powered RedmiBook 16 started at US$540. This shouldn't be much different.
