Enjoy is a series of affordable smartphones from Huawei that is now rumored to add a new 5G model to its ranks. Therefore, one might expect it to have the OEM's in-house Kirin 820 chipset. However, leaks point to a MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor instead.

The Huawei Enjoy line is known for cost-effectiveness and being rebranded under other series names outside of the Chinese market (for example, the Enjoy 10 is also the P40 Lite E). Now, it is rumored to have a new member that will be the cheapest 5G phone from this OEM on the market at its launch. It is apparently called the Z (even though earlier leaks may have had it down as the 20 Plus).

This phone may owe its reported price-range to rocking the Dimensity 800 processor rather than the Kirin 820. It may also have quad rear cameras, the main sensor of which is touted as a 48MP lens. Its latest renders reveal that the 4th component here might be a small and almost ubiquitous depth sensor.

These images also suggest that the Enjoy Z will have 3 color options: a radiant blue, a pink gradient and also a less refractive black. These renders, supplied by DigitalChatStation, may also debunk previously-held speculation that this phone would simply be a rebranded Honor X10: it would have a hard time doing so with its U-notched display.

Then again, these new leaks invite the hypothesis that the upcoming phone might be an X10 variant with a lower-end display panel. The latter will have a 90 hertz (Hz) display refresh rate, whereas the former might get the same, but only in its more expensive SKUs. In any case, these theories will all be validated (or not) at the Enjoy Z's May 24, 2020 launch event.
