Huawei allegedly adds a new device to its Enjoy smartphone series
The new Huawei ART-TL00x has been discovered as a new certification granted by the Chinese telecomms authority TENAA. This phone's description is a virtual polar opposite to the OEM's last major launch, which was that for the premium Mate 30 series. The newer device has only 2 rear-facing cameras, whereas the new phablets have 4; furthermore, it has a slightly aging Kirin 710F processor, whereas the Mates 30 have the latest and greatest 990 HiSilicon SoC.
Then again, the ART-TL00x may not be that badly off: its images on TENAA's website do not show a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, suggesting that it may have an in-display module instead. In addition, its main camera is a 48MP shooter, backed up by an 8MP unit of uncertain function. It seems to have 1 6GB/128GB RAM/storage SKU. However, its 6.39-inch screen has a distinctly low-rent HD resolution.
These specs may suggest that this phone will replace the Huawei Enjoy 9S or 9 on release. The respected leaker Evan Blass has also referred to a phone that looks much like its official images as the same on Twitter. This tipster's material indicates that it will have a red color option in addition to the blue-green fade seen in its new certification. To date, the putative new Enjoy device has yet to be formally acknowledged by Huawei.
