The Amazfit Ares sporty smartwatch from Huami will be launched on May 19
While Huami might be mostly occupied with preparing the much-anticipated Xiaomi Mi Band 5, the company has also set enough time aside to announce and promote its own products. The latest device in the popular Amazfit line will be the Amazfit Ares smartwatch, which will be launched on May 19. It features an octagonal color display and a silicone strap.
The Chinese company has released a few promo images of the upcoming Amazfit Ares smartwatch that show it to be a rugged wearable that should appeal to sporty types and those that enjoy the great outdoors. One image shows the Huami Amazfit Ares with a black strap while another image features the device with a dark green strap and green case. The third image shows the upcoming Ares wearable looming over a city landscape.
Apparently, the Amazfit Ares smartwatch will offer users a selection of 70 sport modes to choose from, and it also comes with a Firstbeat training tool that is brimming with useful features such as sleep analysis, training tests, and numerous other analytics for those who like to keep a close eye on their fitness progress.
No price tag has been offered for the Huami Amazfit Ares smartwatch yet, although it is expected to come in at under US$100.
