Huami's increasingly popular Amazfit fitness brand originally released the Stratos 3 in 2019. It has a unique "MIP" display developed by JDI that is described as "transflective", and thus potentially more readable in daylight, by its maker. The wearable can also switch between 2 modes, 1 of which is pared down to its exercise-tracking and heart-rate-monitoring functions.
This feature may save on battery, and allows the brand to claim it can last up to 14 days between charges. The smartwatch, also known as the Sports Watch 3 in some markets, will reportedly also soon be a part of Amazfit India's line-up. It will still be sold as part of the Stratos series in its new country, however.
This much is apparent from its new teaser campaign found on Flipkart. It also leads to a sales page, although its order button here is not yet active. Amazfit may also sell this smartwatch through its own country-specific website.
However, neither channel offers any clues as to when the Stratos 3 will launch at present. Then again, Flipkart has already posted a price for the new wearable: it will be INR 17999 (~US$237) for the device's black silicone-banded SKU when its sales are finally live.
