Huami is a wearables OEM that has made a name for itself largely through its Amazfit brand of smartwatches. However, it has revealed that it intends to push into additional product categories next year. The company has secured a CES 2020 booth, at which its new products may be revealed.

Huami has arguably had a very successful 2019, with releases such as the Amazfit GTR, Stratos3 and Apple Watch-esque GTS wearables. Now, the company has plans to build on this next year with new, non-smartwatch products. This, apparently, may help fulfil aims that involve the implementation of this OEM's own ecosystem based on these products.

Huami has stated that its 2020 devices will "[embody] a perfect blend of advanced technology, stylish design, as well as health and fitness features" while "curating the latest innovations without sacrificing on style or functionality". This may require all its existing experience in wearable design and production; furthermore, the company also asserts that it will incorporate expertise in other areas, including cloud and AI, in its new line-up.

The resulting products are to be launched at the next CES. They may also be in view at Huami's booth in the venue's South Hall (3-30369) during the conference. Hopefully, other interesting items such as the Amazfit X concept curved smartwatch will also be on display at this booth. The OEM's showcase will be found at this Las Vegas Convention Center location from January 7 to 10, 2020.
