Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition delayed to Summer 2020
Fans of the upcoming remaster of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles were hit with disappointment this week. Square Enix has delayed the title for a second time to Summer 2020.
In a thread on the Final Fantasy Twitter, the development team announced that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition has been delayed to Summer 2020. In their post, the team stated that the decision was reached “to allow the development team some extra time to make final adjustments to the game to make this the best experience possible.”
While the delay is surely disappointing to gamers that have been anticipating the title, fan reactions on Twitter were mostly positive. Most responses stated that they understood and supported the decision, as they’d rather a delayed game than a poorly made one.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is a remake and graphical overhaul of the original 2003 GameCube release. The game will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android with cross-save functionality between all platforms.
