Rainbow Six Siege is supposed to get an fps boost of up to 50% in 4K, but the implementation is not that good as HUD elements are displayed at rendering resolution instead of native resolution.

Dell may be up to its CUDA core cannibalizing shenanigans again. A cursory glance at the Dell G15 listing tells us that its CUDA core count is set at 3,584 instead of 3,840. Dell has confirmed that it intentionally disabled CUDA cores on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 in the Alienware m15 R5. The company has pledged to return all missing CUDA cores to the gaming laptop by the middle of this month, which should give it a noticeable performance boost compared to what it currently offers.

Lenovo will be offering new Legion 5 models with Ryzen 5 5600H and Radeon RX 6600M in Germany at prices starting from €1,299. Currently, a possible workaround is to flash the VBIOS from an m15 R4 that seems to restore the correct values and performance.

Though this price range is typical for a GeForce RTX 3060 laptop, the CPU and display offered here are definitely faster and better than pretty much any other 15.6-inch gaming laptop retailing for around $1000 USD.

Looks like Nvidia is playing the prudent game and is not touching any smartphone chips before completing the ARM acquisition. Its current solution for Android and iOS devices is the GeForce Now cloud gaming service, allowing AMD and Samsung to be first to market with the upcoming Exynos SoC that integrates an RDNA2 GPU later this year.

Acer is offering ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro content creator laptops with Intel Tiger Lake-H processors and NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ampere Laptop GPUs. The ConceptD 5 Pro variant offers NVIDIA's professional Ampere RTX A3000 and RTX A5000 options as well. Both the ConceptD 5 and ConceptD 5 Pro feature 16:10 Pantone-validated displays, Acer Vortex Flow cooling, and Corning Gorilla Glass touchpads.
