Announced back in May, the Asus Zephyrus M16 is now shipping across major retailers. The model is notable for being one of the very few gaming laptops with a 16-inch 16:10 display as the vast majority of alternatives are 16:9. The recent HP Pavilion 16 is another notable 16-inch gaming laptop, but that model is considered to be of lower-end than the Asus.
Other than its uncommon aspect ratio, the Zephyrus M16 also comes with high-end specifications including up to the Core i9-11900H Tiger Lake-H CPU and GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. It even manages to be ever-so-slightly smaller than the 15.6-inch MSI GS66 in footprint while remaining just 20 mm thick.
See our full review on the Zephyrus M16 to learn more about what the system has to offer. During our time with a unit, we were impressed by the bright and color accurate display as well the integrated six speakers, but the high surface temperatures and Wi-Fi performance could be improved upon for future revisions.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s. When I'm not managing day-to-day activities and US review articles on Notebookcheck, you can catch me following the eSports scene and the latest gaming news.
