Deal | Dell Alienware m15 R5 will be down to only $1180 USD with AMD Zen 3 CPU, GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, and 165 Hz 3 ms display for July 4th weekend
The deal will go live on July 2 at 11 AM EST. Users may want to expand the limited 256 GB drive with an internal or external solution for storing more games.
In celebration of the 4th of July weekend, Dell will be discounting its latest generation Alienware m15 M5 gaming laptop by at least two- to three-hundred dollars for a limited time. The final retail price should prove attractive to many gamers given that the m15 R5 is an upper mid-range model packed almost to the brim with auxiliary features.
The most notable aspects of the deal are the Zen 3 Ryzen 7 5800H CPU, GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, and 165 Hz IPS display. Such a combination would typically retail for much more or come with slower native refresh rates or Intel 10th gen CPUs.
Some drawbacks to keep in mind are the small 256 GB NVMe SSD and soldered non-upgradeable RAM. Per-key RGB lighting will also cost an additional $98 USD over the base four-zone lighting feature. Users should take note that this m15 R5 is likely on sale in order to make room for the newer and sleeker Alienware X15 series that launched just a few weeks ago.
